CALL TO ACTION #2 | MEN’S HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK | NOVEMBER 4TH – 10TH
Let’s give it up for the men in our community and our lives! We love you!
For November 4th – 10th, let’s do a 7-day men’s health challenge that combines exercise with self-care practices to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for the awesome men in our life! Grab your brother, your husband/partner, or male bestie and do this challenge with him!
ACTION: 7-Day Challenge Health and Wellness Challenge
11.04: Strength & Mindfulness
Exercise: Complete a 30-minute strength training session (focus on major muscle groups) for you and your partner! Pinterest has some great ideas!
Self-Care: Spend 10 minutes in meditation or deep breathing exercises to center yourself after your team workout
11.05: Cardio & Hydration
Exercise: Go for a 30-minute run, brisk walk, or bike ride together
Self-Care: Track your water intake today and aim for at least 8 glasses. Consider adding a slice of lemon or cucumber for flavor! Which one of you will do it first?!! Show us when you’ve hit your goal!
11.06: Cardio & Journaling
Exercise: Do a 60-minute MixxedFit® class followed by a thorough stretching session!
Self-Care: Spend 10-15 minutes making lists of what you’re grateful for. Snap a quick pic of your lists, and share it with us!
11.07: High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) & Connection
Exercise: Perform a 20-minute HIIT workout (alternating between intense activity and rest).
Self-Care: Take your partner out for coffee or a bite to eat. Take some time to talk about how he’s feeling and how you can support him in his wellness goals
11.08: Visit one of our MixxedFit® bros classes
Exercise: Stop by one of our brother’s classes today and snap a selfie to share! No local bros? You and your partner visit a local MixxedFit® class that you enjoy attending.
Self-Care: Write an appreciation post for what your partner has brought to your life and tag us, duh! We want to love him too!
11.09: Core Work & Relaxation
Exercise: Focus on core workouts (planks, sit-ups, Russian twists) for 20-30 minutes. Take turns encouraging each other!
Self-Care: Dedicate an hour to a relaxing activity together, like reading a book, listening to music, or doing something low-key at home.
11.10: Reflection & Planning
Exercise: Record a video of your favorite choreography of all time created by one of the men in our community!
Self-Care: Reflect together on this week. What did you find fulfillment or success in? Where could you have had more self-care? Did you celebrate your small wins this week? What did you learn about each other during this process?

CALL TO ACTION #3 | VETERANS DAY | NOVEMBER 11TH
Around these parts, we celebrate our military, which has countlessly put their safety on the line for us! So many of our amazing MixxedFit® brothers and sisters are doing all that while still teaching MixxedFit® classes wherever they are stationed in the world!

ACTIONS: Week of Movement + Thanks
11.18.24: Mindful Movement & Gratitude Journaling
Workout: Do a one-minute video of your favorite MixxedFit® Choreography from the IRC this month!
Gratitude Activity: Write down three things you’re thankful for and why they matter to you. Post it on IG, and tag us!
11.19.24: Cardio & Appreciation
Workout: Teach a MixxedFit® class, or join a local instructor! If visiting someone else, bring them a hydration drink or a small gift!
Gratitude Activity: Call or text a friend or family member to express appreciation for their presence in your life. Tell us who you chose and why!
11.20.24: Strength Training & Reflection
Workout: 30 minutes of bodyweight exercises (push-ups, squats, lunges, planks). If you’re in Tacoma, visit Studio MixxedFit® and attend a DRIP class!
Gratitude Activity: Reflect on a challenging situation you’ve overcome. Write about how it has shaped you and what you learned. Tell us 1-3 things we could do so we don’t fall into the same situation!
11.21.24: Outdoor Adventure & Nature’s Gifts
Workout: Go for a hike, walk, or run outside for at least 30 minutes.
Gratitude Activity: Take a moment to appreciate nature around you. Write down three natural elements (trees, flowers, rivers) that you love.
11.22.24: Choreography & Positive Affirmations
Workout: Create a one-minute video of your favorite choreography from the October 2024 Mini Class Playlist
Gratitude Activity: Write down five positive affirmations about yourself, focusing on qualities you appreciate. Encourage others to join you in this activity! Post on IG, and tag us so we can share it!
11.23.24: Mind-Body Connection & Acts of Kindness
Workout: Cross-train in another activity besides MixxedFit® — bring your MixxedFit® bestie with you!
Gratitude Activity: Perform a small act of kindness for someone and reflect on how it made you feel.
11.24.24: Restorative Day & Celebration of Blessings
Workout: Gentle walk or light stretching for 20 minutes.
Gratitude Activity: Create a list of 10 things you’re grateful for this week. Celebrate by sharing your list with us, and go treat yourself to something nice.
